Attention to detail and care for the space: these are the characteristics of the creation in a villa in the outskirts of Rome by our partner, Tecnoart. A small space, but big enough to now contain a kitchen area with island and seats. The installation called for the removal of a wall and the creation of a roof with a bearing structure in insulated isolpan with imitation tile. The roof is fixed and the highest gutter hides the roof from view for the right mix between appearance and functionality. There is a small pillar on the front to support the roof beam. The new space created extends from the (pre-existing) posts to the new perimeter closure.

The choice of the S.40 folding door was determined by the need to completely open the new glass wall and thus overcome the boundary between the home and outdoor environments.

The 2.10 m high panels with aluminium profiles and thermal glass in the S.40 folding door run along the perimeter of the new area for 6.5 linear metres. Packing is internal and divided on two sides, while the side part has a door with handle and lock.

The track is recessed in the floor for ease of passage and there is another special detail. To protect the parquet inside the house from rainwater residues, another inclined internal track was inserted for perfect drainage.
